I needed to replace a HUGE wood dining room table, and I began my search for all the must-haves I wish I would have had when I bought the old one. This table met almost every one of them.1.Smaller, but able to still seat 12 (it seats 8 comfortably, but at Holiday, or party time, it does a fine enough job). This table is much narrower than the old table, but now we are able to hear people across from us and still have room for the food in the middle.2. Indestructible. I was tired of constant water stains, burns knife marks, etc on my wood table. I read up on this one and I dared it to disappoint, and it hasn��t. I set the air fryer basket right on the bare table. No water marks no matter who is sitting at my table, crayon comes right off, so far markers come off (I still don��t allow permanent markets in the house!),no marks from forks or knife scratches used by people seemingly trying to cut the table.3. Beauty. I have kind of a shabby chic hutch, and thought this style couldn��t look good with it. I went for it, and it seems to adapt itself to the style. This table is so pretty in person. The veins of tan and white going through the black table are striking. I get compliments on it every time someone walks in my house.4. Ease of use. I got tired of waiting 6 months for someone to take the leaves of my old table to the attic. I am shocked at how easily I can pull the leaves up from under this table to lengthen it. I can literally do it with one hand, and I can push them back under even easier. The table is pretty heavy, and doesn��t move around easily, so this feature was a big surprise.The one thing this table didn��t have was a set of chairs. I wasn��t happy about that, but because this table is so relatively inexpensive, I was able to find a nice set on Amazon, and I think I��m set for decades to come!

We absolutely love this table! It fits our dining room perfectly and looks even better in person. Surprisingly heavy! Assembly is really easy with the table top on its side on the floor but you can probably not easily remove it from the packing materials or set it upright without help from a burly guy (or two). I slipped the delivery guys a few bucks and they were able to do it for me.The table is sturdy and feels solid. It feels and looks like a quartz countertop. The leaves are excellent and simple to set up. You just pull them out from under either end of the table and they side into place. You just push them down and slide them back under the table top if you don��t wasn��t them out. It��s a handy size too.
